"hello inomay wolf. what brings you here?" asked the kitsun. "luna, i have a favour to ask you-" inomay was cut off by luna "to help you fight your sister." finished the kitsun. the wolf smiled. "yes i will send some of my men to help you." luna stoped and the turned to face the shrine she was praying to. "and your cub is not to far from here." with that inomay walked out into the village and saw a familair face. "kassy!" she called to a red fox looking kitsun with amber eyes.

Andre stood staring at the beautiful white kitsune for a moment after Inomay walked off but soon tore his gaze away from her as he rushed back to her side, remaining quiet as a mouse as he watched everything that was going on. He looked up at Inomay then back down at the one whom she had yelled Kassy to. He tilted his head slightly, wondering, but decided not to give it too much thought. He would likely find out in no time at all what this was all about, so he remained quiet and watched.

'who was that?' alfabrena asked bale wolf looking at him as inomay greated an apparently old friend of hers. 'i dont remember the kitsuns turm but i would say that that was their speaker or leader so to say.' 'oh.she had eight tails.' bale wolf made an odd sound in his throut and curled his lip into a grin.he was laughing! 'what?' asked alfabrena confused. bale wolf shook his head. 'that was exactly what your mother said when she first saw the speaker of the kitsuns' 'realy?mother came here?' 'long ago.now hush'

"inomay!" yelled the happy kitsun. she ran and huged inomay. "hey kassy how have you been?" asked the wolf queen. "grate!" yiped the kitsun. "i have a favour to ask of you if you dont mind." said the wolf queen. "Anything for my friend" said kassy with a smile. "would you mind if my friends and i spent the night at your place?" asked the wolf. "oh please! i would be happy to have you and your friends over!" she said happily. and turned in the direction of her place. telling then to fallow wit her tail. "by the way andre" inomay saud as she turned back into a wolf "u mite wanna pick your jaw off the ground." she gave him a cold look befor fallowing the kitsun.

Andre's ears flattened against his head and he looked down to see his jaw hanging open slightly he closed it and gave an annoyed sneeze before following the wolf queen once again. "Sorry Inomay, I'm just not used to seeing the kitsunes. I've seen them maybe once other than this, and that was only a mere glimpse." He told her as he padded along side her. His ears perked back up and he decided to make a comment he had thought about saying. "You jealous?" He asked her with a teasing tone as he looked sideways at her with a cheeky grin, his eyes half closed, and his ears against his head.

'bale wolf?' 'yes young one?' 'do you have any idea where the others are?' 'others?your going to have to be more spacific alfabrena.' 'my mother,my friends,my people.......' bale wolf sighed, his ears went back and he hung his head, 'no i do not young one.i have no idea.'the two walked on behind inomay and andre in silence till they reached the kitsun, kassy's,home.

inomay smiled at the fox-wolf and said "mabbe i am." when they reached the kassy's place, all but inomay where shocked. it was at the back of a beautiful waterfall. as she walked behinde the waterfall she opened a door and thay all walked in side.

Andre chuckled and continued to walk beside the wolf, staring around at all the wonderous things that were around them. Some scents tickled his nose that he enjoyed, and, even though he very much wanted to go and find the source, he wanted more to stay next to Inomay.

alfabrena hesitated befor the waterfall, looking up at the glittering cascade. she glanced back at bale wolf who had stopped slightly back by her side. he nodded slowly,enceragnly. alfabrena took a deep breath and slowly slid her head into the rushing water glorifying the feel of the water running over her, her fur, penatrating and cooling the skin underneath.people took dragons to be strikly fire,death,and pain but they were wrong.the dragons were all four elements combined into one beautiful creature.they were fire,air,water,and earth all working hurmonasly with one another. 'my people and i are death yes'thought alfabrena, 'but we are so much more as well.we are life,renewing,and healing.'

"i'm sorry but i only have two extra rooms that you can use...." said kassy looking at the fox wolf next to inomay. she was not going to put inomay in any sitchuations she did not like. inomay smiled and said "its ok. i dont mind. and HE will be ok sleeping with me." she said. the kitsun nodded and looked at the dragon and smiled. she led them to there rooms. the one than andre and inomay stayed in has a nice queen sized bed. the blinkets where purple and black. inomay hoped up on the bed with andre. they curled up as kassy walked in. "kassy i have a question to ask you." said inomay. "anything." said kassy happily. "do u know where my doughter is?" kassy's smile faded for a second befor she said. "she iw with the moutain wolves... she was halping them fight orgs. the last time i herd of her she left for raiven pass." as she finished she looked with one eyebrow raised at andre who had started to groom inomay. inomay's tail wagged a little as he did. "raiven pass in a good 3 days march from here." "dont worrie. you guys can travil at a good speed." with that she walked out to check on the dragon and see if she needed anything. as she closed the door andre started to groom inomay between the ears.

Andre continued to groom her between the ears then he moved to her neck. He continued to groom her for a while more then he put his ears back and stuck his nose under her neck and closed his eyes, breathing lightly, taking in her scent. His tail swished back and forth slowly and he began to pur.

alfabrena and bale wolf shared the next room which had a long bed with red and gold sheets. alfabrena choes to stay in her lioness form and hoped onto the bed with bale wolf. the two split it bale wolf taking the foot and alfabrena the head. they had just started groming themselvs of the days travaling dust when the kitun kassy walked in. she seemed odd, nervous like. "if you have something to say spit it out girl. im tired and wish to sleep in peace,"bale wolf growled at her. "bale wolf!"snapped alfabrena, "shes our host." she turned back to kassy and her soft musical voice said, "sorry about that. i be alfabrena dreamspeaker, seer, and high queen of the dragons. and this old grump here is bale wolf," she added with a poke of her long tail at bale wolf. he growled and snapped at the tail.alfabrena hissed swipping her claw-sheathed paw at his muzzle. kassy giggled like a child at the scene and said, "i only checked in to see if you were setled in and if you needed anything." "were fine,"alfabrena said before bale wolf could speak, "thank you." bale wolf grunted into the blankets at alfabrenas probing.

inomay started to groom andre's sholders and his ears. she then sets her head down and licks his muzzle before she drifted off to sleep. when she awoke andre was laying slightly on top if her. she yawned and got up makeing him fall and wake up. he looked around and saw inomay. she grined.

Andre snorted and stood up on all fours, bending his lower half down to stretch his back, then reversing it to stretch his legs. "That wasn't fair Inomay." He commented as he moved over to her, licking her on the nose. Then he shook his fur, getting it all back into place, then he sneezed.

alfabrena woke to whispering voices in her ear. they sounded like water over rocks, and thats what they were, the waterfall was speaking to her.coharent words were indistinct in the sound but alfabrena didnt care, it was beautiful. she smiled, purring deep in her throat greating the voices and thanking them for waking her. she stretched, flexing the claws and each paw,yawning,ivory teeth gleaming. alfabrena turned to the foot of the bed where bale wolf had slept. she pocked him softly in the side. "bale wofe."she called in a soft breazy whisper, "bale wolf, awake. tis a new day with a newly risen sun." "howd you know?"bale wolf rasped, lifting his head and yawning. "were in a cave.the sun cannot be seen" "the water told me."said alfabrena, licking a paw and swiping it over her head to clean her ears. "voices from the water are speaking to you?" asked bale wolf,looking at her. "yes.why?" bale wolf shook his head,eyes dull in thought.

inomay stoped and looked off into space. "are you ok inomay?" asked the fox-wolf his blue green eyes staring at her. "i was just thinking......" shw trailed off. andre tilted his head. "i can make it to where you can turn into something like a kitsun or like i can. but i dont think i should.... it looks too much like a mateing mark. and i dont know...." she trailed off again giveing him an confused almost sad look.

Andre stuck his head under her throat and nuzzled against her fluffy neck before he gave her a tiny lick on her muzzle. "I don't mind. I personaly think it would be pretty awesome if you could do that." He smiled at her and licked her muzzle again, then nuzzled his head against hers.

"bale wolf" alfabrena said looking up from her paw.the elder grunted."do you think theyll ever come back?the dragons i mean" bale wolf turned his head sharply looking at the young dragon in her lioness form.she looked so sad, so pleading.his eyes softned at the look of lonlyness on the last dragons furry face. "yes young one" he said softly "yes, i do think they will come back.your here after all,the first high queen since the first dragons mate herself." "yes,"alfabrena sighed, "but when. havent i endured this pain long enough?" bale wolf then did such a very unexpected thing that it left the high queen speachless, he licked the dragon-lioness on the head between the ears. "put your mind at ease alfabrena.they will come when they come.there is nothing to be done but do what is needed to be done now.remember that."

inomay was nerves. she then bared her fangs and placed them where hes neck met his sholder. she bit down leaveing a mark that bled, she licked it and then he started shaking and whimpering he trans formed for the first time. she transformed and held him till the pain pased.

Andre curled up into a ball as the pain shot through his body and he whimpered loudly as he transformed. As the pain started to subside, he shivered violently for a moment and panted. A moment later he realised that he was not clothed. "Oh..." He said as his expression went from that of pain to that of slight embarassment.

alfabrena licked her whiskers, trying to by time as her throut lossened. "thank you," she whispered, bowing her head slightly to the old wolf. bale wolf growled softly, "do not let dispare take you alfabrena.hold your mind to the task at,otherwise,there will be nothing for the others to return to."

inomay giggled and looked at him. "the only thing is is that you only can trans form when i do." he looked at her. he then smerked as he realized that she is naked. she looked at him knowing what he was thinking. "i'm dont need cloths, my fur dose a good enough job. also i am a wolf, the kitsuns have clothing for status reasons. and as i said i'm a wolf, i have no need for cloths." she finished and he got the hint that he was not going to get cloths... as nature intended. sh she got up he looked him self over.

Andre shrugged at her comment and got up from the bed and stood there, looking his body over. He started by observing his long arms, moving the fingers on his hands, looking at them oddly. He wobbled a bit, as he was not entirely used to standing on two legs. He looked down at his legs and observed their muscular structure, but his eyes eventualy wandered to what lie between them. He started at his own manlihood for a moment, then realised that Inomay was staring at him with a very amused look. Andre stared back at her somewhat wide-eyed and blinked mindlessly. "What? I'm not used to this kind of body structure, and I'm pretty sure that looks way different." He said as he pointed to his crotch, meaning for the statement to be more funny than vulgar, though it didn't much seem that way.

"are we heading out today?"alfabrena inquired. "ill find out?"bale wolf replied.he leaped from the bed landing smothly halfway in the hall. "nice jump!" the young high queen called.bale wolf grunted and headed down the hall toward the other twos room. bale wolf shook his head, he wasnt sure what he thought of the wolf queen of the red one.as he reached the rooms door he nuzled it open. he took a moment to notice that they were in anthro form then said in his low and gravly way, "you two done?"

inomay looked at bale wolf and said "yes mutt face." bale wolf just walked away and inomay turned to andre. "we should get going." she said. as she walked out of the room she turned to see alfebreana. the lioness looked with her head tilted tha the two. they said tier good byes to kassy and started up to the pass. inomay shifted forcing andre to shift back into his animal form. alfabreana turned into her dragon form once more.

Andre padded alongside Inomay once more as they walked along. "I kinda like that form." He told Inomay, half to himself. "Looking similar to the kitsunes feels almost like an honor I dont deserve." He stated but then chuckled as he looked sideways at Inomay. "Did you think I look good in that form?" He asked her with a smile.

alfabrena sudnly tuned into a wolf with smooth royal blue fur that was spiked by her tensed muscles,lip curled over her fangs. bale wolf stoped as well, fur slowly rising making him seem fercer then ever, looking intently at the dragon high queen. "what is it?"he hised. "somethings out there that shouldnt be," alfabrena replied growling deep in her throut. "is it deafkins?" inomay asked, snifing the air. though she smelled nothing odd her fur began to rise from the tension emenating from the dragon-wolf and the elder. alfabrena shook her head, "no.its something else.somthing i have not had the displeasure to meet." slowly an enormous pitch black snake slithered out from the brush. it was big enough to eat bale wolf in one gulp and possibaly more. "now isssssss that a nice thing to sssay?" the snake hissed. andre tried to pounce on the snake and bite its neck. "no!" howled alfabrena as she tackled him to the ground. "its a binign."the dragon-wolf explained, alowing the rufled looking fox-wolf to rise, "its blood is more posienous then even dragonsbane.a single drop would kill you in two seconds." the snake chuckled, "you be a sssssssmart one wolf."the thing hissed. "how do we get out of here then?" andre asked. "we fly.and quickly" bale wolf replied. quick as light alfabrena changed back into her original form, gabed up bale wolf and swiped her tail at the snake as it tried to sink its fatle fangs into inomay as she turned and grabed up andre. "quick!"roard the dragon. "it can stretch" and stretch it did, lifting half of its incredibal length up off the ground into the air, barly missing andre who yelped as he felt the putride air of the binigns breath on his tail.

inomay wjent higher and fallowed the dragon. as soon as they landed inomay turned into her wolf self. she looked at the sky. the look of horror made itself known as they gazed apon inomay. the dragon saw the moon was full. 'its not time for the full moon yet' thought inomay. "alfabrena can you please lock my in a mental cage. Akakiba WILL not tast blood this night."alfabrena nodded and her and bale wolf locked her in a cage, that only held her and that only she could see. soon the white falcon purched ontop of the dragon's head. she told them that fell and keiry had arived with thier 'men' at skika's lair. thay soon settaled around the 'caged' wolf. andre whined whanting to be next to her. he had no idea of the horror that was to over take the black she wolf. as the sun set inomay began to trembel. she screamed in pain and writhed on the ground. soon red markings apeared on her fur, along with the symbol of the Ookami god/ demon himself. "well well well look what we have here." said inomay. but it was not inomay's voice that came out it was the demon Akakiba's. his red eyes glaring at them. he smiled showing the now 5 inch long fangs.

Andre yipped in surprise and jumped back a good five feet away from her and crouched down low and started to growl at her, the hair on his back raising itself menacingly and his tail becoming more bushy than before. He raised his jowels revieling to white fangs in his arrangement of teath. He did not have any intentions of harming Inomay if she were to attack, and he wasn't sure if she was able to, but he still took precautions.

alfabrena opened her connection to bale wolf to andrea and the falcon as well.she noticed andre wince at the touch of her mind and engulfed him in a halo of violet calming light. 'do not speak and do not acnoladge him,' alfabrena ordered threw the mind connection. 'i know alfabrena,'the falcon answered softly. 'you do not have to worry about me.'alfabrena stared hard at andre and pointedly turned her back on the caged deamon. 'close your minds tightly' bale wolf added,and imeditly pulled his thoughts behind an iron wall. alfabrena did the same hoping that the fox-wolf would be able to close his mind to the deamon since she was unable to help with her own mind locked firmly behind walls made of dragon scales,harder than even diamonds.

soon they all gave in to sleep. and akakiba noticed that the cage had weekened slightly. he pushed his way out and looked at them. he grined and wonderd off in the direction of a hurd of grate deer. the massive dear where 9ft to the shoulder. the massive animals had no time to run.
the others awoke to the sound of screaming. they quickaly ran to where it was comeing from, apon seeing that akakiba was gone. when they arived 7 of the massive animals had bee sloughterd. drained of blood, and shreded. they turn to see the grate black wolf beating her head against a tree as hard as posible. the red marking where flickering from black to red as the two strugeled for power. soon inomay colapsed in a pool of her own blood. she was coverd in blood, most not her own.
when inomay awoke the next day she tried to go find a river to wash when she saw what she had done the previous night. then she turned with a look of horror as she saw the others staring at her. she whimperd and put her tail between her legs. she crawled over to andre and he took a step back. she looked into the eyes of her pack. what she saw made her heart brake and she ran off. she ran and ran untill she was half way up the pass. the snow was thick on the ground and she was freazing. she stumbeled and fell hitting her head. just befor she blacked out she saw a glimps of red and white fur. she smelt the sent of andre as he came yelling after her. befor she sliped into the blackness she let lose a mornfull howl and then was silenced by the snow that now almost compleatly coverd her cold and ridged body.

Andre kept running until he got near Inomay and he bounced once a little ways into the air and placed all four paws firmly into the snow, making him glide gracefuly to a halt next to the pile of snow that was covering the she wolf. He whined and started digging through the snow to Inomay. He found her within a few seconds and desperately attempted to get all of the snow off of her. He eventualy got enough off of her to where he could pull her out of the snow by the fur on her neck and he gently dragged her out and underneath a small snow bank that would shelter them from the cold wind. He nudged her limp body a few times with his nose, but she wouldn't respond so he crawled up on top of her and laid his body down on hers, pressing it as tight to her as possible, and layed there on her, hoping to warm her damp and freezing body. He layed his head down gently on hers and then started to drift off into an uneasy slumber.

"should i go after them you think?" alfabrena asked bale wolf and the spirit falcon. "yes," the falcon answered immediately, "andre is trying his best to warm her but they are both wet and, unfortantly, asleep." "bad combination"bale wolf grunted, "youd better go fetch them before they freeze. we still need them or, i should say, inomay. but aparently, for now, theyre a package deal." the falcon flew from the dragons head to a tree limb. alfabrena snorted, unfearled her large, saphire wings, and leapt into the sky. she soon found the two wolves under the bank by their minds. ever so gently the dragon reached her large,clawed paw into the bank and drew the two wolves out. she breathed hot breath onto the two, careful not let the fire erupt from her jaws. andre shivered slitely then lay still once more. alfabrena lifted onto her hinde legs slowly to free her fore feet. she gently curled her paws around each one individualy, carefull of her diamond hard,needle shap claws and jumped straight into the air and carried her carrgo back to bale wolf and the falcon.

when inomay awoke she was sitting by a fire. then she was aware of the fox-wolf clinging to her tightly. she looked and saw they where on the otherside of the peak. she know that her child was not too far away... she looked up and saw the black figur of a wolf staring down at them. the wolf was standing on the lege and then she howled. inomay sat up and let a simalar sounding how erouped from her jaws. it woke her pack and cased them to look at her. the next thing they know inomay tried to run to the wolf but was pined by the fox-wolf. he growled at her forcing her down. she growled then whimperd. "but i need to go to my pup." she whimperd again. he glared at her and would not let her go.

Inomay kept looking at him with her pleading stare and little by little it started to tug at his heart. She started whining more and more and eventualy it got to him. He sighed and hung his head for a moment then slowly got off of the wolf. He stood there and stared at her for a moment and she stared back. "Well, go on then." Andre told her, motioning in the direction of the howl.

"hold"ordered bale wolf. "what for fur-face?"inomay snapped. "she may be an illusion"alfabrena answered. "a trap set up by enamies,"bale wolf finished. "what!!"inomay howled, "i know my own pup!" "be at peace inomay-queen"alfabrena soothed, looking down at the black she-wolf with her liquid eyes. "it shall only take bale wolf and i a moment to check that it is not a hoxe." alfabrena looked back up at the ledge and the wolf standing upon it, and opened her mind to engulf everything looking,searching. "it is not a hoxe," alfabrena announced. she looked down at the she-wolf shifting from paw to paw. "go. be with your pup. we shall follow later."with that alfabrena turned back to the others as inomay took off toward her daughter.

inomay ran and ran untill she saw the beutiful young she-wolf. she smiled and pownced on her mother. they yiped and howled. "MOM grate mother i have missed you!" howled the young she-wolf. inomay looked over the young wolf and saw she was not a pup anymore. she was now a sesoned adult. inomay looked again and saw all the scars. inclooding the identical scar on her muzel that inomay also had. she smiled and howled. this howl was a howl no one had herd in over 14 years. it was the howl of the queen. the two turned to see the others coming up behind them. Andre trotted up to inomay's side and licked her muzel and looked at the light brown she-wolf. "andre,alfabrena, muttface, this is my doughter, bella." at the name inomay called the old wolf Bella snickerd.

Andre stood there at Inomay's side while she introduced everyone. Andre bowed his head at the young she wolf and smiled. "It's a pleasure to meet you." He said politely and raised his head back up. He then sat down on his rear and swished his tail back and forth.

bale wolf growled, "well meet bella. i hope you and your mothers only likeness is by looks for if you are this is not going to be a fun trip." alfabrena chuckled, lowered her head and nudged bale wolf on the shoulder. "come now bale wolf its like you told me a thousand times 'dont judge a book by its cover'."she swung her head down to look at the young wolf threw one of her disk like saphire eyes. "greetings bella, daughter of inomay-queen.as your ceca said, i be alfabrena, seer, dreamspeaker, and high queen of the dragons of old." bella unconsicaly took a steep back as the dragon swung her mighty head down toward her, unucostumed to creatures any larger than a large male wolf.

as if reading the dragons mind she says "i have seen many a liveing thing as large as you dragon." then bella looked at bale wolf "and yes bear mutt, i AM alot like my mother. i'm more bitchy than her though." inomay looked at her pup with pride. with that they wonderd back to the camp sight, with inomay and bella chatering away. they soon setteled down with bella staying a littal ways away from the fire. inomay curled up with andra.
soon after they all fell asleep inomay woke up again. she wonders slightly and sat in a clearing and stared and the moonless sky. she thought of the one she loved. she wished he know how she felt.... but she was afrade... after what heppened to Red... she could not stand to go through that pain again. but it was killing her... and now that theas old emoutions have been awakened... she was a wolf... every year they had a litter, but she had not mated in 14 years. a twig snaped behind her and she turned to see the green-ish blue eyes of andre.

Andre slowly padded over to his lover's side where he stood for a moment, staring up at the sky. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes then reopened them as he breathed out, sitting down. He looked over at her with a smile and put his tail around her. "So, what are you up to Inomay?" He asked casualy, he himself thinking about his emotions for the she wolf.

alfabrena usualy slept with her mind wide open to her suroundings to make sure no enamies snuck up behind her while she rested, pulled her mind back away from the wolf queen and the fox-wolf. though she was seer and dreamspeaker to all creatures, and even humens if pushed, the affairs of the heart were not hers to medale with. she continued to scan the area around her and her companions but left a dimmer, but not completly black, spot where the two were. bale wolf had once driled into her durying their lessons never to leave a spot uncheked for you never knew what could happen.thats how bale wolf had been able to swipe inomay right out from under her snout while they were staying with the forest wolves. she had let her mind pull from spots where her companions where for she had felt it was unnessasary.bale wolf had picked that exact moment to teach his former student one more lesson.

inomay stared at andre and then at the ground. she did not know what to do... her mind was in a haze. she know what she wanted... but she was afrade to have... she felt alone... she had the sight and she know her fate... she know his, but fate can be changed. he was to live... and her.... she looked at the ground and leaned against him.

When Andre felt Inomay's body against his, he smiled lightly and moved his head and set it on her neck. His heart started to beat a little faster as he tried gathering up the courage to tell her how he felt, but he couldn't seem to do it. He opened his mouth but all that came out was; "Inomay... I... I have something I would like to tell you..."

a large barn owl fluttered like a silent ghost out of the night, onto a branch that hung over the two. they took it as an olmen that what was happaning was a wise move.the owl blinked its large brown eyes down at them,encouraging,prompting.

inomay stared at andre. he was trying to tell her something and she was not shour what it was. she licked his muzel to calm him.

Andre took another deep breath and licked the she wolf's muzzle then stared her directly in the eyes. "I... I just wanted you to know that... that..." He stopped and took another deep breath, looked down at the ground, then back up at her again. "That I love you." There. He had said it, the one thing he had never said to anyone before. He had finaly said it.

the owl blinked its large eyes once more, hooted in its races mornful way, and took off on silent wings toward the stars.

inomay's eyes filled with love as she licked his muzzel. "i love you to andre." she wisperd. she pressed herself against him. she was ignoring her need to birth pups. she know she would need to for mental well being. and just as she thought all was safe sh goes into heat right then and there. 'shit' she thinks as she sees him get the sent.

Andre's nose twitched as he caught the one scent he did not need to add to his temptation. Andre chuckled a little bit as he nuzzled his head against Inomay's neck. "That's slightly misfortunate, and oddly coincidental." Andre said with a good willed laugh as he licked his lover's muzzle, trying to hold back his temptation. His tail wrapped around the she wolfs body and Andre stayed where he was for the moment.
