Andre curled around his mate and closed his eyes. He began to purr at a gentle tone to sooth the whining pups. He licked each a few times until they calmed down and fell to sleep. He smiled and then closed his eyes, falling into an uneasy sleep beside his family.

bale wolf sighed as inomay,andre,the pups, and finaly bella fell asleep. "what is it?" alfabrena asked. "i tried to warn them," bale wolf answered, "even after a week or so they will still be so small.they will not only slow us down considerably but will also provide angle and steelpaw and incrediable leverage over iomay and andre." alfabrena thought about this.he was right of course.if one of the pups fell into the enemys hands, inomay and andre would do anything to get it back. the two stared at the pups, each lost in their own thoughts.

the next evening inomay was frantic. She know it would soon be time for her to be seperated from her pups. She looked at her older pup and said “promis me u will take good care of them bella” the brown wolf nodded and curled around the pups, who have been moved to the corner. The two lovers walked into the next room and where sealed by the dragon in it. Soon after she felt akakiba takeing over her. She screamed in pain and charged head first into the wall. Blood trickeled down her face as she lay there. Soon read markings stared to glow and she turned into a werewolf. Akakiba got up and smiled an evil grin. He was watching the fox wolf turn and he was likeing what he was seeing.

Andre started to stumbled around as he felt a tremendous pain in his head as his mate began to change. He fell over onto his side and started to tremble and yelp furiously. His fur was slowly beginning to change into pitch black color, and also lengthen some. His claws became longer, and sharper. His eyes went from their original yellow to a blood red. As his paws and legs started to turn to arms and hands, he slowly stumbled onto his feet. He grabbed his head and started to growl as the pain started to subside and blood red stripes started to crawl over his body. He then fell to the ground and did not move for a moment. When he finaly stood, he seemed much more coherent than before, and he looked straight at Akakiba.

in the next chambor the others had no way of knowing what was happaning to inomay and andre. all they knew was their jobs. bella to watch the pups, bale wolf and alfabrena to keep inomay and andre in and others out. in preporation for this moment bale wolf had been teaching alfabrena to build a bearrier that would not allow the mind to reach in or out. all that was left to do was to wait out the moon.

akakiba looked at the now black wolf with a smile. "so are you still yourself or do u have a demon in you as well?" asked the black and red Ookami demon. se staarted to circle the were witha devious smile.

Andre shook his head and and stumbled to the side for a moment. "I... I don't know... I think it's me... but something is interfering with my thoughts..." He groaned and held his head with his massive paws and then shook them again as the demon finaly took over all thoughts. "Hehe... there we are. Puny fox, his mind is weak." A smile crawled across the demon's face as it looked at Akakiba. "Who might you be?" He asked.

bella looked nervously up toward the wall that seperated her from her mother. "i hope theyre all right." alfabrena looked grimly toward her and said stifly, "so do we all hope bella," and went back to put her full concentration upon her task.

the demon just grined at akakiba. the large wolf just looked at the barrier that was holding them in. he walked up to it. he glared at it then charged it. u could hear the dragon screem in the next room, in pain as she fought to keep the barrior up.

Shazarr looked at the were with a confused expression. "What exactly might I ask you are doing?" He asked simpy, tilting his head to the side.

alfabrenas eyes were wiled, breathing in pants. "that," she gasped, "was unexpected." "we cant let them out. be ready."bale wolf growled jumping to her side, adding his own thoughts to the power of the barrier. alfabrena growled, "they wont get out." 'not while the pups are under my protection.' she added to herself.

"what do you think i'm doing? do you want to sit here and look at my mug all night?" with that he charged through tha barrior, shattering it. akakiba walked over to the doorway of the other room. "LEAVE YOU WILL NOT HURT THE PUPS!" screamed the dragon. akakiba looked at her without expretion. "do you think i will hurt my ouwn pups dragon? i may be a demon but i will not hurt them. there is only one who i will hurt this night ad that is Kar... there is something not right with that wolf and i will kill him if i have to." he turned his head and saw the fox-wolf demon. he grined evily and howled a demonic howle. the other joined in and they raced on all 4s through the tunnels.

Shazarr stared at after the wolf as he shattered through the barrier. "Wow. Not too shabby." He commented with a twisted smirk. When Akakiba left the room, Shazarr walked casualy behind. He waited until the small conversation between him and the dragon were over, then he took off after him as they ran to where Kar was.

bale wolf shruged, "well as long as they only kill him and a few of his guards its fine by me." alfabrena and bella murmmered agreaments and the three sat in the room waiting for the moon to fall and inomay and andre return to their origional forms.

Akakiba and Shazarr ran down the tunnels and hallways. fallowing the stench of Kar. Akakiba was going to have his fill of blood, and he did not care who's it was.

Shazarr ran swiftly behind Akakiba for a while longer before he grew annoyed. "God damnit wolf, where are we going? I'm getting impatient." He growled and thought of biting the demon's tail to make him stop, but he thought better of it. He simply continued to run after him, waiting for an answer.

"i wonder what will happen when they kill kar,"bella asked after a while. bale wolf shruged, "either these mountainers will embrace us as heroes, or theyll chase us out with fire tooth and claw." "we'll find out soon enough," alfabrena said stepping out of her space pocket. "theyre about to come apon him in his rooms."

Akakiba ran until a certain scent hit his nose. He grinned baring his fangs and stopped shazarr with a large paw like hand. “the bastard it up ahead, you ready for your first blood bath?” he said with and psychotic grin, his lips lifting further into a grin showing all his sharp teeth, and his yellow eyes widened as he got ready to spring. “there are at least 50 others in there! BLOOD” he said hysterically, before he lunger the tunnel and into the chamber where Kar resided. The other wolves readied themselves for a fight, but it was in vain. Akakiba started slashing at them, taring at their flash away from their bodies. Akakiba looked up as shazzar with blood dripping from his fangs, still with a psychotic look, and smiled “what are you waiting for!? Get your ass in here and join in!” he bellowed before turning ad slaughtering more mountain wolves.

Shazarr shrugged then lunged into the room, plowing over a wolf that jumped at Akakiba from behind. He set a massive foot on the wolf's side and simply crushed it's bones. He smirked as the sound washed over his ears. He heard another wolf lunge at him from behind and he swung around with one of his massive paws and smacked the poor beast out of the air, sending it into a wall. Another caught him off guard and lunged at his throat, and this being his first time on too legs, Shazarr was unable to dodge. He let out a loud and furious growl as he gripped the wolf and tore him from his throat. A small amount of blood oozed from his neck, but he paid no mind. He bit the wolf on the side, tearing it's flesh, the threw it aside.

alfabrena winced as she felt the light of kars guards wink out. "they have found him," she whispered to the other two. the dragon in her wolf form layed on the floor, curled around herself, covering her eyes with her tail.

the large black were glared through the blood on his face and at Kar. the were with the red trible markings grined a sick and twisted grin. the large rust wolf looked tarified as he looked for a way out. he looked from the fox/wolf were to akakiba. then he started to grin and leped at akakiba. akakiba was about to fight back when he started to change back. when inomay came to she saw Kar towering over her with malace in his eyes. he slashed at her with his teeth. andre jumped at kar nocking him off befor he coulf hurt inomay. as kar and andre started fighting inomay howled "STOP!" the two stopped and looked at her. "Kar for treason i sentence you to death, and that sentance will be carried out NOW!" she said as she lunged at him, cetching him off gard and taring his neck. kar gasped for air and fall to the floor. inomay stood over kar's body and looked at him with no expression. she turned and looked at her mate and walked out of the room and back twords her pups.

Andre's tail hung low and his ears were set back as he followed Inomay back to their pups. He limped as he walked because Kar had gotten Andre's leg with his teeth during their fight, and there was a good sized gash and a few holes in his leg. When they got back to the room, he sat a little off to the side and started to doctor his wound, gently licking away the blood and possible infectious germs.

alfabrena felt andres pain pulsing around him. when she raised her head and saw him licking his wounds she stood and trotted over to him. "allow me," she said. andre looked up startled that the dragon-wolf would want to help him. alfabrena lowered her head to his wounds, whispered a few choice words, and the wounds heald instantly. alfabena studdied her handie work, and snorted in satisfaction.when she looked up she saw the confusion in andres face. alfabrena raised to her full hight, she nodded her head, turnd, and trotted back over to bale wolf.

inomay smiled at the dragon-wolf and thanked her. she then trotted over to bella and her pups and dismissed the younger wolf. inomay curled around her pups with her mate for a cuple hours. she licked every pup repretedly untill andre stoped her.

soon it was night fall and inomay addressed her 'pack'. "its time for ous to leave, the pups can dow be moved. i will take Kalla, bella will take Apricus, and andre will take Eihjiro.now lets go" with that inomay picked up Kalla and headed for thr door.

Andre picked up Eihjiro by the scruff of his neck and gently lifted him from the ground, then followed behind his mate.

bale wolf sighed, "and just when i was finaly getting comfortable. alfabrena chuckled and trailed after belle with the bear wolf. 'i must say it was abroupt' she thought to her mentor. 'aye. but of course she did just kill the king of the mountain wolves. perhaps she doesnt wish to comfront his followers.' bale wolf answered. alfabrena nodded, 'perhaps.'

as soon as they where out of the tunnels inomay strted to run into a small valley. she ran for aout 3 hours untill she found what she was looking for. the den was in a small clearing and was under a old fallen tree. she ran into the burrow and curled up with her pup as the other two where brough in to be with thire mother.

Andre set Eihjiro in front of his mate, then he walked behind her and sat down. He began grooming his fur, since he had not in a while. When he had finished grooming himself, he began grooming the she-wolf, purring quietly as he did.

the cave wasnt all to big so as belle ducked in after andre alfabrena and bale wolf to positions outside and lay down looking up at the darkaning sky.

bella soon emerged from the den and looked at the night sky. it was almost dawn and they would need to go hunting soon. "alfabrena, bale wolf would you two like to go hunting with me?" the two nodded and alfabrana turned into a wolf and fallowed bella into the forest.

inomay sighed happily as her mate groomed her. when he finished he started grooming the pups as they nursed from their mother.

Once Andre had finished grooming the pups, he lie down behind Inomay and wrapped his body around hers, folding his tail around the area the pups lay nursing. He smiled as he stared at the little balls of fur, then he licked his mate's muzzle happily.

belle bale wolf and alfabrena headed deeper into the woods surrounding the den. "wheres all the other animals?" belle wondered. "perhaps the mountain wolves have hunted this place dry," bale wolf answered. alfabrena paused, her moon dusted royal blue fur raising. "i dont like this. i dont like this at all. something is not right," alfabrena said softly to the others.

inomay looked at her pups with a smile and then to her mate "soon we can move again... mabbe in another week or too, they are starting to try to walk now" as if to prove her point Apricus tryed to walk and fell rolling onto his back. he began yelping as he tryed to corect himself. inomay smiled and fliped him over. she looked at andre with a loving look. she had a pack again... and she had given birth to the next generation. not only had she inshured her breed/ type of wolf, but the royal blood line as well. the 14 long years alone has changed the she-wolf but she was happy now...

Andre nodded his fluffy head in response and watched with a smile as his pup clumsilly flopped over and Inomay corrected him. He still could not believe he was the father of the pups of the queen of the wolves, and also her mate, but he was more than proud to be. He sighed happily as he laid his head down on her neck, his tail swishing back and forth at a seemingly constant tempo.

bale wolf stoped sudenly. he smelled the air then looked at his student curiously. "i smell nothing on the wind," he said. "nither do i," alfabrena shook her head. "its just a feeling," she looked slyly up at the old bear wolf, "remember what you used to always tell me?" bale wolf glared down at her, then swept his tail threw the air, "always trust the voice within,............" ".....always answer the call."alfabrena finished. "well thats what im doing now. the voice says run, the call says gather the others and head for the mountains." she looked uneasily around her, head hung low. "then wed best do as we are told," bale wolf said, glancing around him quickly. "but there is nothing on the wind, and we must eat," said belle bewildered. "there will be other times to hunt," said bale wolf.

when the others came crashing into the burrow and told the queen they need to move inomay growled. "ok but this time we are going back to my forest. back to the casel where you found me dragon." with that inomay grabbed Apricus, and tepped out with bella and her mate with the other two pups. she set the pup down ant transformed into a where with wings, as did andra. she grabed Apricus and kalla, and leaving andre to grab his favoret pup and took tp the skies, leaving the dragon to take the other two wolves and fallow.

Andre bent down and grabbed Eihjiro by the scruff of his neck and lifted him from the ground, then he darted out of the burrow carrying the ornry pup with him.

alfabrena returned to her true form, rared onto her hind legs, picked up bale wolf in one paw and belle with the other. she lifted her wings high into the air and leapt up following andre and inomay back toward where the hole journy had began.

the day had come and almost gone,by the time the old delapitated cassel came into view. inomay landed on the ground and turned back into full wolf form again after her mate landed. inomay crawled through a hole in the wall just big enough for bale wolf to fit though. inomay lead them though old passege ways and all the way to the small 'den' that she had given birth to bella, fell, keiry, and drake in. thier smell was still in the nest but it was very faint and stail. inomay placed the small-ish pup down in the nest and curled up with her mate and the other two pups as they where placed in the nest. the den was a in the dongens and in the back of a half colapsed cell. there was no light so inomay's night vision was all she could relie on along with her nose and hearing.

Andre remained curled around his mate, his ears perked fully and his nose twitching around, searching for the faintest scent of any threat. When none came for quite some time, he lay his head down on his mate's shoulders and closed his eyes, though he did not fall asleep.

alfabrena, bale wolf, and bella lay father away along the wall. alfabrena fell into an aneasy sleep in which she dreamed of the elve in his russet clothing, hunting threw the trees with blured images of fellow hunters. 'find him' whisperd an irritated voice across her mind. 'find him'. "why?" alfabrena asked the voice curiously. "why is this elve so important?" 'his part in this tale is about to begin. and it involves you high queen.' a new voice whispered gently across her mind 'no more questions.find him.'

inomay awoke to the sound of one of her pups whining. she opened her eyes and turned to the whimpering pup to see he had goten lost. she licked him and directed him back to her. after the pup was nurcing happily, inomay turned to her mate and licked him. he had not been asleep, but he had had his eyes closed. he opened his eyes and licked her back and watched her fall back asleep.

Andre lay his head back down on his mate's neck, keeping very wary and watchful eye over the pups and those at the wall. He felt, for some reason he could not explain, responsible for the entirety of the group. He felt the need to protect them all, even though Bale wolf and the dragon probably would not need his help. He sighed and closed his eyes again, propping his ears straight up as he listened, resting his eyes, but not sleeping through the entire night.

as she awoke alfabrena shudered. a yard away bale wolfs ears twitched sencing the dragons confusion. "what is the matter alfabrena?" he mummbled his eyes opening a crack. "a dream." alfabrena whispered, "a dream that i have a feeling will not go away until it is seen to." "what kind of dream is that?" andre asked the words slurring together with his lack of sleep. alfabrena chuckled threw her uneasyness, "you should have slept andre. your going to need it."

inomay awoke to the conversation and said "we are NOT moveing again, a wolf defents her lands and this is my home, i will not be run out of it ike some rat by a cat from its hole. WE ARE STAYING" she stated and started groming the pups. by now they where trying to walk and inomay was glad she only had 3 pups insted of 6.

Andre shook his head lightly after Alfabrena's comment, getting some of the sleepiness out of his head for the time being. "I couldn't. I felt the overwhelming need to watch over you all as you slept." He said with a smile as he watched the pups move around. He cast a glance at his mate, and with it, a smile.

bale wolf chuckled. "there is no need to look after us young one," bale wolf kept chuckling. "but it was a kind gesture none the less," alfabrena tipped her head just slightly to andre making him start with supprise.

"mom" one of the pups yaped when inomay roled over. inomay's eyes shot open. her pup just said his first word! the pup with the sum birst said it again and wagged his little tail clumsily.

After recovering from Alfabrena's unexpected gesture to him, he was then surprised when the pup spoke. "D... did he just speak?" Andre asked, looking to his mate to confirm whether or not he was going crazy.

alfabrena smiled. 'its good to see light and happyness in this dark time," she said to bale wolf threw their mind connection so as not to disurbe the scene playing out before them. bale wolf grunted, 'to bad it wont last long.' alfabrenas head snapped around to look at her old mentor. 'what do you mean?' 'just what i said. inomay wishes not to leave but we will soon have no choice but to do so. we cannot stay put for as long as she wishes. that would be suicide. and inomay needs to see that by staying here she seals the fait of us all. not just our little group here oh no, the country, the world will crumple if we fail.' 'how can you possibaly know this?' bale wolf finaly lifted his head from the ground and met her eyes. 'do you dought the words of our ancestors dreamspeaker?'
