Around the third closest star to the sun there orbits two planets, Karthan, and Crylite. On the beautiful green planet of Karthan, there exists a race of anthropomorphic creatures that resemble animals from the planet Earth. They were a peaceful and delicate race that had no wars, though they did have an advanced military power, because the closest planet to them, Crylite, a desolate wasteland of a planet, had a very menacing look to it. On the surface of Crylite, there were many volcanoes, oceans of magma, rather than oceans of water, and a violent race of creatures that were dubbed the Dracus by the inhabitants of Karthan. Karthan and Crylite orbit very closely to each other and at roughly the same speed, so they are always near each other (about the distance from the moon to the surface of the earth). For years the Karthanian people lived without much fear from Crylite, but in the year 2578, that all changed dramatically...

TIME: 16:45:90 Half Sun

"Sergeant Miller, give me a report on those Crylite ships that were detected in this area 6 hours ago." The captain, who happened to be what appeared to be a mix between a tiger and a cougar, bellowed out this order in his booming voice to Sergeant Chase Miller, who happened to be in charge of the radar on the Delta Class Battlecruiser Autumn Glory. Delta Class Battlecruisers were strictly space combat ships armed with one KOC (Karthanian Orbital Cannon) and a crew of 300 men, 200 of wich were trained for intesne combat, both hand to hand and ranged, though hand to hand was more commonly done. Metal was a scarce resource, and mainly used to build warships and battlecruisers and the like.

"Aye Captain." Without looking at the Captain, Chase went straight to work with his radar. "Nothing on the screens now sir. I think it was just a false alarm." Chase Miller was a handsome looking young cat. His fur was a lovely orangeish color and he had brown streaks that covered his body and long, pitch black hair that partialy covered his lovely red eyes.

The Captain let out something short of a growl as he looked over at Chase. "I highly doubt that, son. These detections have been getting closer and closer to our planet every sun cycle and I don't like it one bit." The captain looked back in the direction of the navigation screen wich had a feed to a camera on the front of the hull of the ship, showing them where they were going.

Chase's eyes flashed back to his screen when he heard multiple blips appear. "Sir! Multiple contacts appearing nearby! They're not friendly!" As Chase said this, the captain ordered the entire crew to go immediately to their battlestations. Red lights started flashing throughout the ship as more and more enemy ships appeared on the radar. "Charge the KOC!" The Captain ordered and there was a quiet humming throughout the ships. Not seconds later, there were multiple loud explosions as multiple shots from enemy ships slammed into trhe Autumn Glory. The ship shook furiously at each hit.

"Fire!" The captain ordered and there was a loud THOOM as the KOC sent it's massive laser at an enemy ship. "A direct hit." One officer confirmed as he prepped the cannon for another shot, but it was much to late. Everyone on the bridge saw nothing but a large flash before an enemy round tore through it, killing everyone inside. Not too much later, the entirety of the Autumn Glory burst apart, and the ship, and her crew, were lost.

Appearance Description: Andre stands at 5'8". His fur is a lovely redish orange with white running from around his muzzle, down his neck to his stomach and around his thigh area. His tail is long and fluffy with a white tip, and his ears are somewhat long with black tips. His left eye is pitch black and his right eye is a blood red color. His hair runs down a little past his shoulders and is pitch black in color. For his clothes he wears the standard Karthanian Army uniform.

Andre breathed heavily as he his behind a barrier, listening to the bullets ricochette off of it, one every now and again piercing the barrier and zipping past his head. He yipped slightly as he felt one scratch his face. "Alright, I'm tired of this." Andre picked up his spear and unholstered his pistol that was on his side. He spun out from behind his cover, quickly locating the enemy soldiers with the guns. He aimed carefully and fired off a few shots, dropping the Dracus to the ground. He grinned and holstered his gun as he charged forward at the ten or so men that were the close-quarters men. He jumped over a blade that was swung at his torso and leaned back as he dodged a spear that was stabbed at him. He kicked out skillfuly with both feet in opposite directions, kicking both of his attackers in the head before he landed on the ground. As he did, he began to spin his spear over his head. As another dracus made an attempt to attack him from behind, Andre swiftly spun his body around and brought his spear down, causing it to connect with the side of his opponent's head, making him do a flip. Andre slid his hand down to the end of the shaft and swung it as hard as he could while he continued to spin, smacking anothing Dracus in the head with the end, and slicing another across the chest with the spear. He released the spear with one hand and allowed the other to make the spear land gently across his shoulders. He stood there, waiting for the next Dracus to make his move.

Akakiba was no more patient then Andre. But out of kindness she let him have some fun. But she was growing tired of standing there and doing nothing. She quickly ran and jumped over Andre with her two daggers in her hands. Her arms crossed creating an X. As she landed she slashed at two enemy's necks causing blood to spatter, covering her soft gray and black fur in blood. In on smooth motion she sheathed her daggers and grabbed her staff from behind her and spun it over her head and slammed it down next to her. “hey who said you can have all the fun?” she asked smiling, showing her white fangs.

Andre smirked at his comrade as she made her comment and he set his staff down next to him. "No one. However, you took your sweet little time in attacking, so it is partially your fault." As he finished his sentence, he ducked under a Dracus's sword, who apparently thought he would be able to sneak up on Andre. Andre cast a cocky grin back at his attacker as he drove his elbow back into his stomach. The Dracus lifted a little ways into the air from the force before Andre delivered a powerful kick in the same spot, sending his opponent soaring through the air. Andre set his foot back down on the ground slowly and the cast a glance back at Akakiba. "The last two are yours if you want them."

“with pleasure” she said as she leaped at her enemies she swung her staff hitting them both square in the head. Then she spun and kicked their legs out from underneath them. When they hit the flour she pulled her daggers from their sheaths, slicing their jugular vains. Now coverd in blood and dirt she looked more brown then black. Unlike the rest of the Okami clan she was black and gray/silver. Most of her clan was the color of your normal timber wolf (gray wolf). Every now and then there will be a white one of her clan but not often. So she was well know among her clan. Along with being what was consider royalty, she was on odd color. She did not act like royalty nor did she care to. She was not the type to sit idly by when she could be fighting. She was a worrier and there was no changing that. As she cleaned the blood of her daggers she looked over at Andre. His black and red eyes looking at her gleaming with amusement. He know her past and know that for royalty to get that dirty would never sit well with her clan. If her mother could see her right now, her already graying muzzle would turn white. “what are you staring at? Haven't you ever seen me fight before?” she asked sounding annoyed as she eyed the fox. But her eyes betrayed the fact that she was just putting up a front. Andre knew her well enough to see that in her eyes. No one else would have picked it up.

Andre smirked at her, diverting his eyes from hers as he looked off into the distance at the massive Crylite Capital ship that was their objective at this time. "I know, but it really amuses me to watch you fight. I wouldn't expect someone with your beauty and stature to be such a brutal fighter and end up covered in blood." He cast one more look at her as he began to slowly walk towards the Capital ship. He knew it wouldn't be going anywhere. The Dracus had established a base underneath the ship and relied on the ship for defence. "I would have thought that would have been me. Of course, in order to take out this ship and complete out objective, I will need to get my hands dirty." He chuckled and stopped walking, waiting for her to catch up to him.

Andre's clan, the Arashi's, were well known throughout Karthan for their incredible martial arts style known as the Arashi Palm. It was strictly for those in the clan only. The style of the Arashi Palm consists of striking with only the palms, fore arms, knees and feet. Another thing that the Arashi's are revered for is there indefinate control over the elements. Andre is the only one in the entire clan that can control two elements at once, and the only one to master the element of darkness. Then, the final, and possibly most interesting of all the Arashi traits is a demon that is passed down from the leader of the clan to his son. Andre happens to be this son, and he can access this demon's power at any point in time that he wishes, but at a price. Andre must make a large blood offering that will either leave him unconcious or nearly dead.

She turned around to see him a little too close to her face. She growled and said “this is not the time for games.” and she said as she turned away. He looked slightly amused and fallowed her. It was too quiet for the wolf's liking. She turned to look at the fox. Her eyes telling him what she was thinking.

Andre simply smirked at her as he walked by, a low growl barely audible to her coming from his chest directed at her. Andre began twirling his spear as he caught the tiny specs that were enemy dropships headed their way. He looked back at Akakiba and grinned, throwing a wink her way, still spinning his spear. When he looked back forward, the dropships were almost to their position. They began firing rounds first at Andre, then at her. Andre dodged the rockets swiftly and lobbed a large ball of fire from his paw at the nearest dropship. It hit the ship dead on and it came crashing to the ground, troops struggling out of the flames. He grinned with satisfaction and leaped up into the air, landing on the cockpit of the second dropship. He slammed his fist trough the glass and filled the cockpit with fire. The ship started to lose altitude quickly so Andre jumped off and landed skillfuly on the ground, turning around to see the ship slam into the ground. "Akakiba, two more dropships if you want 'em!" Andre hollared at his partner then charged at the soldiers stumbling out of the second ship.

She looked at him and smiled. She leaped at the drop ships. She bunched through the first one. But when she went for the second one she got caught. As she slammed through the glass the a gard grabbed her and held her there as it crashed. Andre looked on in horror as the ship slammed into the earth. As she tried to get up she was stabbed in the gut by one of the enemy. She killed him and crawled away from the now burning ship. She lay on her side as Andre ran to her side. Blood was pooling in the corner of her mouth. She looked at him and smiled weakly. “i should have seen that coming..” she said barely able to talk. She looked like she was dieing but she was not. The enemy stabbed her where her uterus SHOULD be. She had to have it taken out when she lost her last litter.

Andre felt himself getting angrier as he looked at his companion laying on the ground. He knew she would be fine, but it killed him inside to see someone close in pain. "You stay here. I'll be back in a second." He told her as he gently touched her cheek with his hand. He stood up and began twirling his spear around as he turned around and charged at the few remaining Dracus soldiers. He let out an angry cry as they began to fire their rifles at him. He leap into the air as one bullet zipped by underneath him where he had previously been. He lobbed his spear down at one of the men and the spear went straight through his head. As Andre was about to land and draw his gun, he felt a round tear through his shoulder and another scraped his leg. He yipped and hit the ground in the most ungraceful looking way possible. He stumbled forward a bit to avoid being left open and he pulled himself back up, his gun drawn in his other arm. He fired off the entirety of his remaining clip, taking down all but one of the Dracus. He searched his side pockets desperately, only to find he had no clips left. He looked up to see the Dracus with his rifle aimed straight at Andre. "Oh fuck..." Was all that he managed to say before round after round tore through his chest. Andre stumbled back a few steps and coughed, blood spewing from his mouth. He looked up at the Dracus and let out a loud yell. Some unsean force slammed into the Dracus and sent him and everything around him through the air. Andre chuckled lightly just before he hit the ground face first in a puddle of blood.

Inomay saw him hit the ground and gathered all of her straight She called forth her last weapon of defense She howled and summoned her spirit protector. The mist wolf ran out of nothingness and charged the one who had shot Andre Inomay slowly fallowed the mist wolf to where he lay. She begged the mist wolf to heal his injuries. The mist wolf, being kind did her best. Andre opened his eyes. Shortly after the mist wolf vanished. “YOU ARE A FUCKING MORON!” cried inomay, Holding his head on her lap. He smiled and she growled. Losing the battle to hold back her tears, one started to roll down her face.

Andre reached up and gently wiped the tear from her cheek. "Is there anything else that's new?" He asked her and then he sat up. Though the spirit wolf had done a good deal in fixing the multiple wounds in he chest, his chest still hurt. He winced and held his chest for a moment, then stood, turning around to face the wolf girl. He smiled at her and picked up his spear and tore his now tattered shirt and jacket from his chest, revealing his now slightly red orange fur and white belly. He threw the rags on the ground and turned around to face their objective. "Alright, no more messing around. It's gonna get serious now." He turned around and held out his hand to Inomay, offering to help her up. She still had a few tears on her face, but she grabbed it and hoisted herself up with his help. Andre smiled at he again and turned around once more.

She stood up and winced. The wound in her abdomen still had not fully healed. As she limped she would whimper every now and then. Using her staff as a crutch she fallowed Andre Inomay herd her wolf spirit talking to her. Telling her she could not give up. Inomay know she could not die this day. Event though she cant have pups to carry on her line she could not show weakness and die here today. Then she thought of how Andre and acted after she got injured and know she could not leave him by himself. God knows what kind of stupid shit he would get into. He would probably get himself killed. She looked at him and smiled. Then she stumbled The mist wolf started to walk beside her along with a tan one. She smiled at them as they tried to heal her. But they could only fix the internal injuries not the large wound They started to whimper as she stumbled and almost fell. She growled and tried to get up. She was going to finish the mission. She was not going to die!

Andre casy a glance back at the wolf over his shoulder as he heard her aparently having some troubles. He stopped where he was and allowed her to catch up to him. He gave her a concerned look and looked down at where she had been stabbed then back up at her beautiful face. "Are you going to be alright Inomay? Would you like me to go on ahead on my own and let you rest? You really look like you could use it." He smiled at her kindly and gently put a hand on her shoulder, his ears setting back against his head.

“NO!” she yelled. “god knows what kind of trouble you could get yourself into when i'm not around!” the two mist wolves looked at him. “Keiry, can you try again?” she asked the white mist wolf. The wolf nodded and tried again. It was only slightly bleeding. She stopped her limping. Event though it still hurt. She told the mist wolves they could go now but they only growled at her. She sighed and looked at Andre. He gave her a puzzled look. Then looked at the wolves at her side

Andre nodded to Inomay and smiled again. "Alright, well, I want you to be more careful, and, in exchange, I'll try to avoid the bullets for once." He chuckled as he looked back towards the enemy's base and he began walking towards it once again, waiting for Inomay to catch up with him before he increased the pace he was walking at. He caught her in his periferals and so he began walking faster, and eventually the two started to run towards the base. It was still another two or three miles away so they had a long ways to go.

Her wound was mostly healed by now. The two mist wolves would not leave her side. She know that Andre should know who they where but thought better of it. When they where only a mile away they where attacked. Inomay easily took care of them with her staff. Andre jumped over her and took out another attacker. She smiled to herself. But keeping up her emotional wall. The two mist wolves trotted to her side. One walking right through Andre.

Andre looked up at the massive wall that was surrounding the enemy's base as he heard the sound of the defensive cannons come online. Multiple metal plates on the wall slid to the side revealing many large cannons. As they charged, Andre skid to a halt for a moment. He held out both hands to the sides and fire began to gather in his palms. Once the flames were large enough he slapped his hands together and sent a stream of fire towards one of the cannons. Upon impact, there was a large explosion and metal scaps flew through the air as the cannon was destroyed, but that was only one of many. The cannons began to open fire on the two, and they contiued their charge towards the wall, skillfuly dodging the massive shots and the explosions that followed. Another one hundred yards and they would be there. As Andre got close to the wall, and too low underneath the cannons for them to be able to shoot at him, he stopped and started to concentrate his energy. Soon, his entire body began to turn a pitch black color and wings of fire began to sprout from his back. When he opened his eyes, the only thing you could see in the sockets was fire. He stepped up to the wall and looked up at towards the top. The walls seemed to be falling down on him, though they werent. He looked back down at the wall and drew back his fist. He threw it forward and it slammed into the wall. There was a small moment of silence, then, all at once, a large hole tore into the wall, the debris of what used to be the wall in that area flying backwards into the base.

Inomay looked shocked. As Andre walked through the hole he had another mist wolf appeared He was black as night with bright yellow eyes. He growled and inomay and the 3 mist wolves fallowed the now black fox into the base. They where soon attacked and slightly out numbed The 3 mist wolves where killing the enemy solders left and right wile inomay killed quit a few herself. She lost sight of Andre for 5 min and it was starting to scare her. Keiry scening this starts killing in the direction of Andre fallowed by inomay and the other 2 mist wolves. When she reaches him he is back to normal, but in a bit of a bind He had bitten off more than he could chew figures Inomay jumped right behind him pressing her back to his. The 3 mist wolves helping them fend off their attackers until most where dead.

Andre looked over his shoulder as he caught Inomay's scent and felt her back against his. "Hey there. Having fun yet?" He asked her retoricaly then he looked forward again. A Dracus had drawn his sword and decided to charge at them. Andre ran head first at the Dracus and ducked under his sword. At the same time, in one quick, swift motion Andre grabbed the Dracus's wrist with his left arm and slammed his right arm into the elbow of his oponent's arm, snapping it. The Dracus roared in agony, throwing his head back. Andre used this oportunity and he bit down on the attacker's throat and ripped it out, blood spraying into the air as he did. Andre released the now lifeless reptile and spat out his throat. His upper half of his body was now partialy covered in blood, but he didn't care. He looked up at the ship above and smiled before running back to Inomay, who had just killed another enemy. "Okay, Inomay. I know how much you don't like doing this, but I need you to go now. I'm going to go up the grav lift and take out that ship, which, when it falls, should take out this entire base as well. Can you do that for me? I promise I will be fine." She looked deep into her eyes to tell her that he was not lying and he promised to be careful this time.

"fine then my s- i mean fell is going with you." she said as the black mist wolf stepped forward. Andre realized that he was not event touching the ground. The large black wolf walked towards Andre. He looked at inomay before he fallowed Andre. Inomay looked at the two remaining mist wolves and signaled for them to fallow her. She ran as fast as she could. Until she had reached where she had been stabbed only hours ago. As she looked on she saw the grav lift fall onto the base. She started to whimper. Worried that the fox that she adored mite not come back to her.

Andre watched as his companion ran off, his tail flicking to the side a little. He looked down at the black wolf and smiled at him. "You gonna be alright up there?" Andre asked him, smiling more as he saw the wolf's expression. The wolf gave him a sarcastic look suggesting that he was saying 'What the hell do you think?' Andre almost laughed before walking around to the numerous Dracus dead bodies. He picked up one of their assault rifles and one of their pistols and grabbed numerous ammunition clips so he could be sure he would not run out this time. Once he had as many as he could possibly hold, he started to make his way towards the grav lift that he noticed was now coming down. There wasnt a doubt in his mind that there would be enemy reinforcements along with it. There was a somewhat loud thud as the platform hit the ground followed by a gentle humming noise as the gravity was activated. Just as he suspected, he could see atleast thirty enemies coming down through the air. He aimed his rifle up into the air and started to fire off rounds at them. He say a few twist and turn as the bullets tore through them. He estimated that he got maybe fifteen of them before they were below the buildings. He began to sneak along the paths of the base until he came to the grav lift platform. He cast one final glance behind his shoulder in the direction Inomay had run. "I'll see you soon my love." He said quietly then charge out into the open, firing round after round at the unsuspecting Dracus who were inspecting their dead allies. He got eleven of them before his clip was emptied, so he leaped and rolled behind a plate of metal from the wall he had blasted through earlier and quickly reloaded. Before his enemies could get a chance to react, his popped up above his cover and unloaded the entire clip on the remaining three or four soldiers. He discarded the empty clip and slapped in a new one as he ran to the grav lift platform, replacing the clips he had just used. He stepped into the center of the platform and waited for the wolf to join him before he put his paw on the holo panel to activate the upwards gravity. Not a moment later the two of them were soaring through the air towards the opening of the ship. Once they passed through the openening, they were met by a barage of bullets. Andre leaped behind an unmanned tank and popped up to begin firing at their welcomers, but no matter how many he shot down, more kept coming. "God damnit." He cursed under his breath and he got back down behind the tank. He saw a door that was under the cover of the tank so he made a run for it. Just as he was about to reach the doors, they were blown off their hinges. Andre yipped and dropped to the floor as one of the doors flew over him. He stood back up to see that last thing on this ship he wanted to see. A dragon. The strongest, most fierce of the Dracus forces, besides the Dracus lord himself, were the Dragons. The dragon threw back it's head and let out a ferocious roar before it snapped it's head back down and bit at Andre. Andre leaped to the side, and the wolf leaped to the other as they dodged the dragon's jaws. Andre fired a few rounds and they collided with the dragon's head. It roared in pain and clawed at Andre's torso. Andre jumped back, but not in time. The dragon's three claws tore across Andre's chest, slinging blood across the ground. Andre stumbled back, holding his chest, but he didn't give up. He aimed the rifle with one arm and squeezed the trigger, unloading the entire clip into the body of the dragon. It roared in pain again and slapped Andre with it's tail, sending him into a wall. Andre yipped again as his back slammed into the wall, but he got right back up. He ejected the clip from the gun and slapped another one in and proceeded to unload it's contents into the neck and shoulders of the dragon. With one final roar of pain, the dragon fell on it's side and stopped moving entirely. "It's about time..." Andre gasped and then he heard rifles continue shooting at him again. He ducked down and sprinted for the opening in the wall where the doors used to be and made a mad dash for the power core of the ship. A few minutes later, after killing many more men, and another dragon (this one was in a corridor so a grenade was all that was needed this time) Andre was finaly at the core. He ran along the platforms, mowing down anyone in his way with his rifle as he made his way up to the core exhaust. He pulled his last four grenades from his pack and pulled the pins, throwing them into the exhaust. He turned around and hauled his fluffy tail back down and into the corridors. He was too tired to keep going, however. He stumbled and dropped to one of his knees as a large explosion rocked the ship. He chuckled to himself and flopped down on his rear, and leaned his back against the wall of the corridor. The black wolf sat beside him and Andre put a hand on his head. "Well, boy, we did it." Andre leaned his head back and closed his eyes. From where Inomay was, there was an extremely bright flash and the capital ship burst into numerous pieces and began to plummet to the ground. With one final flash, the ship slammed into the base, and a shockwave soared across the plains, a large cloud of smoke and fire forming above the base.

To inomay's horror the mist wolf appeared at her side after the exploration The wolf looked like he had been beaten and then had his pups killed right in front of him. He layed down next to inomay. The voice of the gruff black wolf echoed in her head. 'I'm sorry mother... I tried but there was no time and he collapsed and-' the wolf stopped and let out the most mournful howl. Inomay was in denial This could not happen. Not again. First her pups and her first mate and now Andre In was to much. She howled for 30 min before she could bring herself to go look through the ruble She ran over sharp metal cutting her paws as she did, but she did not care. She had no reason to care. She was usually strong, and emotionally detached. But not with Andre He was the reason she kepted fighting the reason she was still here. When she hit a malten hot sliver of metal it burnt her causing her to stumble and fall. She hit the ground sobbing. She howled as loud as she possibly could. She begged the wolf god to send some Dracus. She wanted to die. But she was going to take put as many of the fuckers that killed Andre the one she loved... but the gods did not answer her plea She lay there sobbing. Wishing for death to reunight her with her love. And maybe her pups will be there.. maybe they will no longer be just mist wolves... maybe she could see who they really are. “Andre I love you....” with thoughts last words she slipped out of consciousness.

The next day...
Andre groaned as he shifted his body, he himself coming back into conciousness. As he moved, he felt a sharp pain in both his right leg and his shoulder. He bit back the yip that was coming up from his chest and he looked over to see his shoulder pinned down by a large slab of metal. He grimaced and looked down at his leg, and it too was pinned down by metal, and likey broken, telling from the massive amount of pain throbbing from it. He set his head back down and sighed before he started to gather some of his darkness into his hand. He slapped his palm against the metal pinning his shoulder and it moved up a little, just enough for Andre to pull his shoulder out from under it before it hit the ground again. He sighed and sat up, grimacing from the pain that was now pulsating from his ribs. "God damnit..." He murmered and he slapped his chest. It didn't feel any better that before, but he put the rib back in place. He leaned forward and gripped the metal pinning down his leg and lifted it up, pulling his leg out from under it. To his surprise, it wasn't broken, just cut to the bone in numerous places. He tore off his pant legs up to his knees and wrapped the cloth around his wounds. While he was doing this, his nose caught a familiar scent through those of smoke, ash and blood. It was Inomay's scent. "What is she doing here?" He almost said but then he realised that he was still in the ship when it came down. She likely got worried about him and came to find if he was alive. With slight worry for her, he got up and started to run/limp through the rubble in the direction of her scent. He continued for a few more minutes, then he finaly found her laying on the ground, and she looked in a bad way. "Inomay..." He said quietly and he ran over to her unconcious body and lifted her upper body into his lap. He looked down at her and began to stroke her lovely fur, hoping she would reawaken soon, and hopefuly not angry with him.

Inomay herd her name being whispered. Then she recognized the voice. She opened her eyes slowly. To her surprise was a very tattered and dirty Andre. “ANDRE! I-i-i thought you where....” she choked . she could no longer hold back her tears. She sat up and raped her arms around him. “MOTHER!”Andre's head shot up to see the 3 mist wolves running at them. “mother?” whispered Andre. Then he looked at the wolf women that was sobbing into his fur.

Andre set his hand on the back of Inomay's head and stroked her hair gently. "It's okay Inomay, I'm alive. I'm fine..." He continued to stroke her hair until she finaly stopped sobbing then he brought her face up to where her eyes were level with his. He delivered a small kiss to her snout then allowed her to put her face back into his shoulder. "What did you three mean by 'mother' earlier?" Andre asked, adressing the mist wolves.

Inomay sighed “you remember the litter that was the reason my uterus had to be removed?” inomay asked. He nodded. “well they where all still born... shortly after the 3 mist wolves showed up. They are the souls of my pups.... they never leave my side.” she looked away from Andre. She loved him. Her previous mate had died and they mated not out of love but politics. But she would like to have a mate again... but she could not except anyone but the fox that captured her heart. She looked at him sadness filled her beautiful yellow eyes. Her ears where drooping and her tail was between her legs. She was unable to bare pups... he would never be her mate. He needed pups... it was a selfish though. She hung her head. “Mother!' snapped the brown mist wolf “stop being week! You are of the Okami clan, we do not show this amount of weakness!”inomay looked at her “i know Bella... I'm trying... but there is no point...” the black wolf snapped at his sister and sat next to his living mother. Inomay and Andre where surrounded by her dead pups. She smiled faintly. But continued to look down.

Andre continued to stroke her head as she emptied her emotions out. He looked around at the three wolves that were her pups. He smiled at each then he gently pushed her body from his so he could stand. He held out a hand to her hand she took it and allowed him to help her up. Andre stared around at the devastated area and sighed. "I really should not be alive... I don't know what the hell happened, but I shouldn't be alive now..." He looked at Inomay with a sort of sad expression on his face. "How do I keep getting so lucky, Inomay? I just don't get it..." Once again his ears set back against his head and he looked down at the ground, then, keeping his head hung, he looked over at the wolf.

“i don't know Andre. You are just one lucky bastard” she said smiling. She grabbed his had and smiled again. The mist wolves looked at him and then vanished. Every now and then he would see a shimmer of color that reviled where the mist wolves where. “what now?” asked inomay still holding his hand.

Andre looked around for a moment then looked back at Inomay. "Well, seeing as the mission is now complete, we head back to base, report, get our money and wait for the next job." He said this very blantly as he looked around some more. He sighed and gave Inomay a small lick on her damp nose then started walking, her following at his side, his hand in hers. They had a long journey to make, and Andre was needing some serious wound treatment. Now, as far as he knew, he had multiple bullet wounds in his chest along with three long and deep gashes, and his left leg was torn to hell from the explosion. On top of that he would need a nice shower to wash all the blood, mud, and dirt from his once beautiful orange fur.

it was getting late and they needed to stop for the night. inomay had Keiry try to get the worst of the wounds on Andre. she started a fire and had found something to eat. when they had finished eating she thought of something. "you know i can help with stopping the infection in your wounds...." she looked at her. he know what she meant. he know the saliva of her clan was well known for its healing abilities. he smiled and she blushed. she looked at the wounds on his chest. she lied him down and started licking the wounds. trying not to blush.

Andre winced slightly as her tongue met his wounds. He lightly bit his botom lip and dug his lengthy claws into the ground. He let out a tiny whimper and closed his eyes for a moment, then took a deep breath, then all was fine. He was used to getting painful healing like this, so he had learned a good way to ignore all the pain. He looked down at Inomay as she lightly licked his wounds, he himself feeling about ready to blush, but he held it back. He didn't feel like being asked why he was blushing. That was always an annoying question, depending on the curcumstances. "Hey, careful with those Inomay. They are still extremely pain- ow!" He bit back a yip as he felt her tongue hit a part where there was a piece of the dragon's claw that had aparently broken off on his rib. "God damnit... can you try and pull that out?"

Inomay carefully removed the piece of the dragon's claw. Carefully and skill fully licking the wound. She soon moved to his ams. When she got to his legs she was almost glowing red. To Andre's amusement. After she tended his wounds she could not help but try to get most of the dirt and dried blood of his torso. When she had finished cleaning his wounds he had fallen asleep as she groomed him. When she had finished he was clean.... well he still needed a shower but you could once again see the fox colors on his fur. She smiled when she saw he was asleep. She licked his cheek and curled up next to him. He opened his eyes slightly and raped an arm around her. She smiled and purred. One would think a wolf would not purr but the Okami clan can. She smiled and fell asleep in his arms. The black wolf appeared to keep watch.

The next morning Andre awoke to a gentle breeze flowing across the plains. He opened his eyes to see that it was still slightly dark. Inomay was still curled up to him. Her head was on his chest along with her hand and her top leg was over his. He smiled and gently worked his arm under her body and put it around her. He closed his eyes again and began to pur, waiting for the wolf to awaken so they could continue on their way.

She woke up and smiled. She licked his muzzle. She growled and pured. She stretched and yawned. She nuzzled his neck before she sat up. “morning love” she said as she yawned again. “shall we be on our way?” asked inomay. The dust and blood making her black fur matted and tattered looking. You would never have known that she was black and gray. The mist wolves yipped and played as inomay got up. She was never a morning wolf. She looked ant Andre who was still laying on the ground. “are you ever going to get up?” she asked.

Andre smiled at both her comments and popped one eye open at her. "I dunno. I might." But, like normal, as he said this, he got up. He got back down for a moment on his knees and reached forward, clawing at the ground with his claws as he arched his back and stretched. He opened his mouth and let out a lengthy yawn, showing two glistening white fangs before he closed his mouth again. With something that was a mix between a growl and a groan, he got up and then stretched his muscles one more time before letting out a very pleased sigh. This was pretty much his morning wake-up ritual. He looked at Inomay, who's expression was always priceless whenever he did this. "Okay, now I'm ready." He said with a smile as he gave Inomay a small hug and a lick on her snout.

Inomay looked puzzled then sighed. Then without warning the drown mist wolf and the black one pounced on inomay. “Bella, Fell stop!” she snapped. The two pups whimper. Inomay sighed and looked at Andre. “yes I'm ready. I NEED a shower... the only thing I will miss is sleeping next to you...” she said sadly. She did love sleeping next to him. He knew it she liked to sleep next to him as well.

Andre smiled and licked her snout again before he started to walk down the path that led to a main road nearby. They had a nice land rover there waiting to take them back to base. Andre and Inomay climbed in and the driver revved the engine just before slamming down the gas and taking off full speed down the road. Within the hour, they were back at base and sitting in front of their commander. "Well done you two. I really didn't think you'd manage that on your own. We're impressed with the results. So much, in fact, that we have another job for you tomarow." Their commander, a gruff looking old husky probably in his fourties walked back and forth in front of them then stopped, facing them. "This mission will be much more dangerous than the previous one, however, so I want you two to go home and get some rest, then report back here tomarow and 0800. Got that?" Both Andre and Inomay stood quickly and slammed their fists against their chest, the Karthanian salute, and said "Yes sir!" simultaneously before walking out of the room. As the doors closed behind him, Andre looked over at Inomay. "Well, that kinda blows. I was hoping to spend the entire day with you tomarow."

Inomay raised her eyebrow, them smiled. “well who said I cant spend the night at your place?” she asked with mischievous look on her face, and tone in her voice. But it was replaced with a blush when he looked at her oddly.

Andre, after thinking about it for a few moments, smiled at her and nodded his head. "Alright then, you can do that. I have no problem with it." Andre smiled at her again then looked forward. Though she was covered in filth like he was, she was still a very attractive looking wolf, and he knew it too. He just... didn't want to admit it out loud yet.

When they got to his place she headed straight for the shower. She washed off all the blood and filth that had caked her fur. When she was done she dried off. Her fur was once again black and silver. She has changed into her furs as well. It was the only spar cloths she had. The fur top was like a half shirt that barely coved her. The fur shirt when almost to her knees. She walked out of the bath room, letting the fox take his well needed shower. She lied down on his bed and stared off into space.

Andre couldn't help but stare at the wolf as he passed her, heading into the shower. Once he was in there he simply tore off his ruined uniform and threw it into the garbage. He would have to get a new one tomarow. He ruffled his medium length hair for a moment then sneezed as all the dust filled the air. He stared at it with somewhat wide eyes. "Oh wow. That's just plain ridiculous." He shook his head then removed the rest of his clothes before he literaly jumped into the shower. He quickly turned the nozzles and sighed as the wave of warm water crashed over his exhausted body, making a red and brown stream of water run down his fur, onto the bottom of the shower, and finaly into the drain. He stood there for a good five minutes just letting the water erode the filth away from his fur before he grabbed the soap and began rubbing it over his body. He stepped out of the water and lathered up his fur before stepping back into the water, allowing it to wash off the soap. He sighed and proceeded to wash his lovely black hair and the rest of his body. Once it was over he reluctantly turned off the water and stepped out of the shower, shaking his body flinging water everywehere. He smiled and then grabbed a towel, finishing the rest of the fur drying process then he wrapped the towel around his waist. He didnt care to put clothes back on. He sighed happily and walked out of the shower and then over to his bed where he flopped down next to Inomay, putting one arm over her stomach, propping his head up on the other arm.

She blushed when she realized he was only in a towel. She tried to divert her attention from her slight arousal. She prayed that Andre had not smelt it. She crawled under the covers to hide the smell, and then cuddled up to him. She buried her head into his chest, still slightly blushing.

Andre looked down at Inomay and smiled at her. He could smell something coming from her, but he could not tell what exactly it was. He had smelt it the other night, right after they stopped and rested after their most recent mission and were about to fall asleep. He disregarded the thought for now. He put his arms around the wolf and held her close, kissing the top of her head. "So, you called me love earlier. What was that all about?" He asked her. He knew the answer, he just wanted to give her a little hell before he did anything else.

Inomay's ears flattened against her head when he asked that question. She sighed and glared at him for a moment. “... because... because I do love.... you, Andre.....” by now she was really blushing. And unfortunately for her when she shifted th blanket moves enough to release her sent of arousal. When she realized this it was too late, for Andre had already gotten a goos whiff of it.

Andre smiled at her and then gave her a gentle, loving kiss to the lips, his wet nose touching hers. He released the kiss almost immediately and his ears flattened against his head and his white cheeks were tinted red by his newly formed blush. He opened his mouth to say something, but for some reason, nothing came out. He chuckled at his shyness and put his forehead against hers and made his lips move to the words. "I love you too..." Was what they said. There was something his body was detecting that was fueling these urges from him yet he could not figure out what the hell they were, so he just let his body do what it wanted to for the time.

Inomay picked up his sent and know that he did not know what it was... but she did. She know what mite happen and it made her arousal spike a little. When he mouthed 'I love you' her heart skiped a beat. He loved her?! Oh gods! She thought happily. She crawled out from underneath the covers. She cuddled up to the fox man. She could hear his heart beat speed up.

Andre felt his heart start to beat faster as Inonay cuddled up to him, and he could also feel his breathing begin to increase. He strained himself to control both of these, but it was no use. One of his hands began to gently stroke the wolf's back while the other seemed to rest itself on her hip. His tail swished back and forth for a moment, but it eventualy made it's way to hers where it lightly wrapped itself around hers, swaying with it. He felt in his chest the urge to kiss her again. Although he tried fighting it for some reason, it still managed to win, so he leaned forward a little and kissed the wolf, closing his eyes. His breathing seemed to calm as he did, along with his heart rate.
