Oy this is long overdue... Halo RP with my sister :3 Her and I will be the only ones posting unless otherwise stated.

~<>~<>~<>~<>~<>~<>~<>~<>~<>~<>~

It's not been long since Master Chief had discovered Halo, and ancient weapon of unimaginable power. It's design was meant for the complete eradication of all life in the galaxy to prevent the spread of the Flood -- a parasitic species hell bent on devouring every living thing in the galaxy.
Thankfully, John had managed to destroy this ring, but it was discovered that there are several more, six to be exact, floating in the galaxy. This is a fact that the crew of a UNSC frigate, Descent, were previously unaware of. As was similar with the Pillar of Autumn, a blind jump to escape from Covenant forces landed them in the heart of another one of these monstrosities.
After having news of these installations relayed to them, the crew of the Descent decided that it would be up to them to rid the galaxy of another one of those dangerous machines. Aboard the Descent are two of the very few spartans that managed to escape from the planet Reach. They will be the key to victory, as they were designed to be.

...

Oh, and everyone is suddenly an Anthro.

A soldier came running up behind a spartan clad in unusual fuchsia colored armor instead of the normal green, "Spartan!" The soldier yelled as he finally caught up. The spartan stopped and turned halfway, meeting the soldier's distressed gaze with an expressionless orange visor. "Calling all Spartans to central command." He saluted. The spartan nodded without a word after receiving a questioning look from the soldier, then walked past him. The spartan had been heading to the armory to check weapon status, but now supposed that would have to wait. She stepped over bodies of the enemy as she passed through part of the ship that had seen most of the battle. The corridor was painted with the odd colors of the different alien scum. The few parts that weren't a bright new color were burnt black and strewn with holes from the shots that hadn't found a target. The only sound besides the bugled orders from soldiers was the pulsing whine of an alarm that matched the strobe of a red light in choice parts of the hectic corridors. Finally she came to the heavily guarded door that lead to central command. The soldiers stationed there were silent and motionless except for the few approving nods from some of them as the spartan passed through the door. "Mokiva reporting sir."

The captain spun around and stared at her with intense, calculating eyes. His mind was full of clutter as he tried to keep order on the ship. With fire in numerous portions of the ship, casualty numbers being reported, and trying to locate where in the universe they actually were was tugging him in every direction. Half his bridge crew were either dead or injured from raids made by the covenant. The bridge was painted with light blue, purple and red from the incidents.
"Mokiva! Good thing you're here. From what I understand, we've eradicated the covenant from the ship. There aren't any reports of them managing to follow our jump thus far, but we've got bigger problems." He did not bother to stand on military formality. He was far to busy to waste precious seconds doing so. Plus, he had never been known for adhering to military etiquette. He only had his rank because he was one of the best damn captains the UNSC had ever seen. He turned from Mokiva and walked up to the large window at the front of the bridge. A few of the panes had been replaced with metal plating. A repair protocol built into the ship in case of window shattering to keep the crew from being sucked into space.
He pointed to a massive object way off in the distance that looked like a ring. "Just before we jumped we got reports from the crew of the Pillar of Autumn that they had encountered a large covenant force on a ring world like this one. We just so happened to be fortunate - or unfortunate enough, depending on your perspective - to pull off the same accident that they had. Jessica, our shipboard AI, has discovered a force of similar, if not greater size than the one on the ring the Autumn had found. Intel suggests that this thing is a super weapon capable of eradicating the entire human race. We can't let them use it, so we're going to destroy it." He finished as he turned again to face Mokiva.
As he did so, he was greeted by the other spartan on-board. His dull black armor was splayed with scratches and pullet holes from moments when his shield dropped. He had his helmet off and tucked under his right arm. His long black hair was resting neatly behind him. He had cloth wrapped over his eyes. They had not been injured or lost during battle. He was just blind. An unfortunate side effect of the extensive genetic modifications that had been done in his conversion from a young boy to the spartan he was today.
"Arashi! You startled me. I had not expected you to be here so soon. You were down at the hangars." He started as he gave the spartan an inquisitive eye.
"The enemy in that sector had been eradicated faster than predicted." He responded, his voice deep and cool, emotionless. "I was already on my way up when you had recalled us to the bridge."
"Ah! Right then. How much of the briefing did you hear?" Gerard asked.
"Everything."
"Good! Then, here is the point of this." He continued, turning around again and resting his elbows on the console in front of him. "We are going to land on this thing and get rid of it. Or, at least deter the covenant from being able to use it. The odds are insanely against us, but with you two at the front lines, attacking key targets, we can pull this off. Jessica is calculating a series of potential landing zones based on weaknesses in the enemy's detection systems. Their battle network is poorly encrypted, so we will easily be able to eavesdrop and find out what they plan to do and what they know of our presence. Head to the armory and get geared up, and we'll call you to the hangars when we decide on an LZ." Once again, he turned around, and he snapped a dismissing salute.
Andre returned the salute, and held it until Gerard released his.

{:} Feel free to take control of Gerard whenever, as well as Jessica. They are APC's {:}

Mokiva released her salute as soon as Gerard and Andre had. She turned and walked out the door retracing her steps back to her previous destination; the armory. She did not speak the entire time, then again, she barely ever spoke unless she had to or was being talked to. When they had maneuvered around the debris that made the wide corridors into small winding paths and stepped through the doors into the armory, the purple spartan pressed a button on the side of her non-symmetrical helmet. A light attached to the side came on and she scanned the pitch black room. She found what she had apparently been searching for on a pillar in the middle of the room; the armory's fuse box. She walked up to it, then opened it and began rearranging the contents until the lights in the room flickered on. She switched off the light on her helmet and looked around again. Her view fell on Andre for a moment, but then began scanning the weapons on the racks around her.

Andre gave an acknowledging nod as the other spartan's gaze met his for a moment. As she sifted through the armory for her desired weapons, he was merely looking for ammunition. He already had his weapons on him from his orders to defend the ship's hangars. He had a sniper rifle slung over his back and two magnums holstered at his hips. When he found the ammunition he needed, he filled the ammo pouches that were on his chest and belt. He threw in a few frags as well, just in case, and he was ready.

The compartments and pouches that were originally meant for her weapons were still filled with specialty tools as she was repairing some of the damage done by covenant to the ship. She still had a small pistol in a small compartment in her breast plate just in the case of running into covenant during her duties. She hadn't though and the pistol remained untouched for now. She began emptying the tools into a vacant toolbox left on a bench in the armory. She grabbed the shotgun that sat next to the toolbox and latched it back into place on her back, then she grabbed the two plasma pistols and three plasma grenades and put them back where they had originally belonged. As she did she glanced over Andre again, "So..." she paused, "I'm guessing that you're one of the elites? You know? Those of us Spartans who've actually chosen to be what we are now?"

"If that's what you want to call it." He looked at her with a smirk. "It was more like I came to accept my fate sooner and in a much more optimistic manner than the other children." He glanced down at his magnums on his hip and frowned a bit. They weren't going to be close quarters very much anymore. He wasn't going to want those anymore. He stood and took the magnums and their holsters off, tossed them on a table along with the ammunition, then hunted down an assault rifle. He checked the sights to make sure they were decent, tossed aside the half empty magazine, slapped a brand new one in there, then filled his emptied ammo pouches with enough clips to wipe out the crew of a corvette class covenant vessel.

"Well..." Mokiva paused, "That optimism still makes you a hell of a lot more effective than most." She added a nod as a final thought. She started toward the exit of the armory, snatching up a DMR as she went and rested it against her shoulder. This DMR was old and worn but still perfectly functional. On the side was an ametuer engraving that displayed a number and the name Mokiva. She walked over and stood next to Andre, "So...shall we go kick some covenant ass?" She asked rhetorically, offering him the hand that didn't have her gun in it.

He firmly grasped her hand and held it for a moment. He gave it an insignificant jerk as a different form of a hand shake and then released her hand. He stared at her a moment, then gave a firm nod. He tossed his assault rifle into his left hand and raised it over his shoulder to attach it to the back of his armor. At the same moment, he reached over his right shoulder to grasp his sniping rifle. He brought it to shoulder and aimed down the scope. He examined what he saw for a short second to insure it was still working properly. A pesky grunt had caught him from the side, somehow, and landed a plasma round on the side of the scope. There wasn't much more physical damage than slight melting of the outside, but he wanted to make sure it didn't mess up any of the electronics. Once he was satisfied with it's condition, he switched back to his assault rifle. He leaned it against the wall beside him and slipped his helmet on. His helmet had numerous dings and scratches on it from his days as a spartan in training, being sent out on petty missions against the insurrectionists. He reached behind his head and grasped his long black hair, twisted it a couple times, then tucked it under his helmet. His hair was WAY beyond UNSC regulations, but who was going to tell a spartan no? He looked over at Sketch, and with an invisible smile, he said "Let's go."
