As soon as the orb dissipated and the younger Arashis felt it safe to move, they ran over to their brother. They didn't crowd over him and Sketch, but they stood pretty close. Andre gasped for breath and coughed again. More blood poured from his mouth into his paw and onto the ground. Again he gasped, then he looked up at the elder Mokiva. "Sir..." He said with a jagged voice. Again he coughed, again more blood.
"What's wrong with him?!" Leena cried, her hands over her mouth and her body shaking. Crystal stared down at Andre firmly. She knew what was wrong with him. She was the only one beside him that did. She was the family medic, and so she knew everything there was to know about every possible ailment that could befall their family. Andre was the most unfortunate of them all to inherit the most deadly disease their family could possibly have. It was a parasite that lived in the lungs that fed on them until they were either dead, or too weak to support the body. Andre was fortunate enough to also be born with psychokinesis, a key factor in helping him survive the parasite. The psychokinetic waves that moved through his body made the parasite lay dormant. Now that the electrical shock from Gantz's attack had disrupted Andre's flow of psychokinetic energy, the parasite was on the attack.
"Andre..." Crystal started, but he growled at her.
"No Crystal, you know what I told you." He glared at her, but not with hostility. She nodded and closed her eyes.

An eagle momentarily blocked out the light of the sun as it flew down to SketchPaw's father. He stuck out his arm for the bird to land on. This eagle was a lighter brown than most and was also bigger than most as well. It flapped its wings to slow down and gracefully landed on SpiritClaw's outstretched arm. SpiritClaw took his staff and jabbed the end of it in the ground to where it stood straight up when he released it to take the rolled up piece of paper from Ririshi's beak. He untied the string around it and unfurled it. After he had read it he held it in the palm of one hand and it suddenly ignited into flame. He grabbed his staff and looked at the bird, "Ririshi Hidai," he said softly. The bird fluttered off his arm and to the ground then began to glow a soft white and the light grew and intensified. The light faded soon after to reveal a bird bigger than an elephant. "We are going to have to go to your sister," he explained his reasoning for the spell. "Everyone on," he demanded, walking over and picking Andre up like he was a little kid. He jumped up on the back of the bird and lay him down gently, then sat up near Ririshi's head. SketchPaw jumped on and looked back at her siblings expectantly. FeatherPaw looked back at BearPaw, seeming to be confirming something. When Bear nodded she looked back up at SketchPaw, "We are going on foot back home from here, we would be of no use now..." she explained with an assuring smile.

"I'll travel on foot too." Crystal said in a defeated manner. "I'm far to heavy for the bird, I'll slow it down too much." She admitted, and it left a sour taste in her mouth. Despite her perfect figure, she still weighed the most out of all her siblings. It was simply an unfortunate side effect of her element, as was her stone arm that she kept hidden under her sleeve. Where Andre weighed about 300lbs, she was a whopping 700+, and still tiny, aside from her breasts.
"I'm coming with!" Leena spoke up and she quickly ran to hop on the bird behind Spirit and Andre. "I need to make sure he's going to be okay..."
"Ruby and I will go on foot with the others as well. Just in case anything goes wrong down here. Gantz isn't likely to just let us flee like that, I'm sure he'll send out search parties." Chase said as he tilted the brim of his hat upward so he could look up at Spirit without moving his head.

SpiritClaw chuckled and looked down at the Arashi siblings, "If you would like to come along do not concern yourself about your weight. Ririshi Hidai is a spell I put on Ririshi that not only enlarges her, but no matter how much weight she carries she can still fly without fail." He explained in his soft elderly voice. "Well..." he continued, turning around, "any last minute passengers wanting to get on might want to now, cause we are taking off," he said, this time with a hint of mischief in his voice. "Sou!" He said quickly, making it sound more like he was quickly exhaling. Ririshi began to flap her wings, getting ready to take off. "Oh! How silly of me..." SpiritClaw said, turning again to the Arashi siblings on the ground, "one more thing...for those of you staying here I have sent word to the Mokivan soldiers. They will be joining you shortly just in case anything does happen." He informed them, giving them his usual kind smile.

Ruby, Chase, and Crystal all nodded. "Thanks again, Spirit, but the longer you talk the faster he dies. Please, get him to someone that can help him." Crystal said with a dominant tone to her voice. Her eyes were stern and unyielding. Ruby and Chase both looked at her rather shocked. She rarely spoke to anyone like that, especially a male of Spirit's position.

To everyone's surprise the old man began to laugh, "Die? Ohoh surely not," he assured them, "Not while I'm around..." his tone suddenly dropping to a deathly serious one. "Teiku-ofu!" He whispered and the enormous bird launched itself into the sky in a blur of motion. The trip was silent, as far as talking was concerned and was very short. Within five minutes they had touched down in a clearing in the Mokivan forest right outside the village. Before them was a grand wooden house, covering almost completely with vines and other plants. It seemed to glow and glitter in the sunlight. It was a two story house with the front of the second story being nothing but three large windows. SpiritClaw got up slowly, after all he was still an old man, and went over to Andre's side, "How is he doing my child?" He asked serenely. SketchPaw still didn't make eye contact with her father, "not any better..." she replied quietly. SpiritClaw sighed, "Alright," he said to himself, then picked Andre up again. There was now a figure visible through the vines over the middle window of the second floor, but it was non-distinguishable. Spirit hopped down off the bird, followed by a very solemn SketchPaw, then the bird returned to it's original size and flew off into the forest. Both the Mokivas headed toward the house and when they got there, the door was opened for them by the maid. They walked in and headed upstairs to where they saw the figure standing in the window. There were no rooms, but instead, a large open space with a bed made out on the floor. The person still stood at the window. It was a woman with a cup of tea in her hand. She went to take a sip, but paused when she sensed their presence, "Lie him there...in the bed," she said with a smooth, and elegant voice, but did not turn to look at them, then took a sip of her tea. SpiritClaw smiled and complied, setting him gently down on the bed. "You are in good hands now son," he assured Andre with a kind smile. "My maid will get you some tea, please wait downstairs," she asked, still not turning away from the window. SpiritClaw nodded and turned to walk back downstairs, but noticed that SketchPaw didn't move. Instead she stood there starring at the where Andre lie with sad eyes. He turned and put a hand on her shoulder. She closed her eyes and sighed, then followed her father downstairs where they were met by the maid with a tray of tea. "Follow me please," she said quietly, taking them to a table where they would sit to wait.

"I sure hope so..." Andre gasped. It was getting increasingly difficult for him to breath. The parasite was moving fast. Leena came running into the room in a panic. "Andre! How is he?" Her eyes were wide and frantic, and she had her hands up by her face. Her tail was tucked and her ears were back, and she looked on the verge of tears.

SketchPaw shot up out of her seat when Leena came into the room, "Leena?!" She exclaimed, going over to her and wrapping her arms around her comfortingly. "Andre will be alright, he is upstairs being treated as we speak." She explained reassuringly as she lead Leena over to the table and sat her in the chair she had been occupying. The maid returned and offered her some tea, "You should drink some. It will help calm the nerves." She said in a soothing voice. SketchPaw put a hand on her shoulder and looked down at her with a assuring smile.
The woman turned away from the window and walked over to the other side of the room where there were counters lining the walls and a island counter in the middle where she set her tea down. She then walked over and sat on her knees next to the bed where Andre lay. She put her hand gently on Andre's forehead. Her hand was warm and smooth. "So you are the Arashi child I have heard so much about." She spoke softly still, not intending for him to reply. "I promise you, Arashi, that when I am through, you will suffer no more. It won't be much longer." She kept her one hand on his forehead and lifted the other to where it hovered about an inch above his torso. She closed her eyes in deep concentration, but not a single line creased her face. Then she slowly opened them again. She moved the hand that rested on Andre's forehead to his eyes and closed her own again. An image projected on the back of Andre's eyelids. He could see, himself, what was going on inside him. The woman began to whisper on a level so faint that it was barely even audible to Andre. Suddenly he could see everything stop. She removed her hands, then got up and turned in one fluid motion almost as though she were floating across the room. She went through a couple cabinets and grabbed a few bottles of unnamed liquids without even having to look for them. While she gathered the glasses she also grabbed a small empty porcelain bowl. She began pouring a teaspoon of each into the little bowl and despite the odd coloration of each, the resulting liquid became clear. She picked the bowl up and walked back over to Andre, taking her original place next to him. "Listen carefully Arashi. You must drink this. It just might be the worst experience you have had outside the battlefield, but no matter what, you cannot reject it. You must drink it all. Understand?" She explained in a firm, but still smooth voice. Though he did not answer, she knew that he had heard what she said. She lifted his head slightly with one hand and with the other put the bowl to his lips and slowly poured the liquid into his mouth. The whole time her face held a determined look.
Meanwhile; back at the mountain pass where SpiritClaw had left, under the suggestion from BearPaw, FeatherPaw had left to take TeatherPaw home. Also to the very bitter disappointment of TeatherPaw. BearPaw refused to escort them. He was the only Mokiva left there, so he took it upon himself to intercept the Mokivan Guard that was heading their way. It was about an hour and a half since Spirit, Sketch and Andre had left and an hour since Feather and Teather left. Bear's calculations were accurate. There was a rustle in the bushes from the direction he awaited their ally's arrival and a familiar large man stepped out with many others following afterward. He wasn't in his normal garb, instead, he wore the armored uniform of the general of the Mokivan Guard. "Hello John." Bear greeted flatly.
